I am really impressed with this tank. delivery was promt. The instuction manual took some working out as it dosn't always correspond with with the actual model. But that is the only niggle. Once you get going with this tank i'ts great fun ( until the wife bans you from using it indoors) i think it left some tracks on the carpet. Well worth the money

Exceptional value for money.
All metal tracks, sprockets, road wheels, lower hull, hatches and more. It also has the Asiatam track tensioners and metal 3:1 gearboxes. You will not find a better tank for this kind of money.
Also a big thank you to the guys at Nitrotech. Especially Steve, Gordon and Guy who deserve a rise, for their excellent customer service.

Brilliant quality and lots of fun! Best part is the metal tracks, I just enjoy the sound of the metal tracks rolling along the floor. In one word, brilliant!

Very pleased ,ordered thursday morning [before 1pm] arrived friday morning ,free delivery as well .The tank ,late version tiger 1 is very good ,with all the metal ugrades as described including metal lower hull ,wheels ,suspension and nicely painted and weatherd tracks .The tank came in a realistic matt camo paint scheme with black and brown weathering ,quite good .The tank commander is the only let down he looks very ill with wierd staring eyes .So far everything works perfectly.

I must say I am really impressed with this tank and the improvements which have been made on the previous (first model).
Namely: much better more realistic paint job (matt finish – the previous had a semi-sheen to it, and better weathered look),
it does now recoil when firing a BB – GREAT,
items described as being metal are, except the small shackles – but who cares
A pair of full bare metal ropes (copper/brass) come in the accessory pack,
Maneuverability & speed is slower but more realistic due to the additional weight of the full metal version–( approx. 7kg) compared to all other heng long pro version tanks.

To sum up - compared to my heng long walker Bulldog pro and Taigen Panzer – a much better tank and worth the extra expense.

the tank is a very good buy and looks fantastic, the only down side is the instructions they say the battery goes in the underside under a flap.But you have to unclip the upper hull to exspose all the inner workings and the battery connector and the battery space. But all in all a very good buy that is very fun and looks and sounds perfect.

Got this tank for christmas, and overall i'd say its brilliant. The whole look and quality is amazing, the only dissapointment i'd have, would be that the paint work on the commander would have been better and painted in african corps colours. But other than that its a brilliant looking tank.

In vergelijking met een standaard Heng Long Tiger I waarbij alles van plastic is,
komt deze tank met upgrades als:
- metalen loopwielen späte version (dus zonder rubber en 4 per kant minder)
upgrade kost normaal 65 euro.
- metalen tracks, normaal rond de 45-60 euro.
- aluminium beklede bak + metalen torsievering (zoals in 't echt) metalen
veerarmen metalen sprocket en idle wheel (normaliter ca 130 euro upgrade)
- metalen MG 34 plus idem houder voor op de turret.
- metalen voorste luiken radioman / bestuurder en metalen turret späte version.
- metalen roosters rond de motorruimte 4 stuks (los ca 40 euro aan upgrades)
De tank weeg hierdoor ca 5 kg zonder 7.2 V accupack en dat voelt solide aan, het rijgedrag en inveren van de wielen is navenant.
De kabels op de tank zijn plastic, wel worden 2 metalen kabels meegeleverd.
Het gereedschap is op de hull gegoten en dus ook van plastic.
Maar al deze zaken zijn tegen geringe meerkosten te upgraden en ook prima verkrijgbaar; zelfs de uitlaten en spatlappen kunnen in metaal geleverd worden.
Verder hierbij de RX 18 unit van Heng Long en bijbehorende sound unit en smoke unit, de nieuwe metalen gears en nieuwe motoren waarmee de tank voldoende kracht heeft om over obstakels te rijden en overeenkomstig de snelheid van een echte Tiger I rijdt (20 terrein / 37 weg).
Gezien de Hl proppeschieter die kleine plastic kogeltjes afvuurt, is er dus geen recoil van de loop. Wel veert de tank na schieten in het geheel terug.
Verder is hij met een makkelijke metalen 1 klick sluiting te openen.
Goed kloppend zijn de metalen tracks op de turret 5 links en 2 rechts zoals dit hoort; de aangebrachte zimmerit is erg fraai en correct i.t.t. alle "kale" Tigers die men zoal te koop aanbiedt.
Kortom, een echte aanrader. De electronica is redelijk gezien de prijs, echte modelbouwers zullen al snel e.e.a. vervangen voor Elmod.
Daarnaast kun je de geluiden van de Tiger aanzienlijk verbeteren door de Beier Soundmodul in de RX 18 te integreren, hiermee zijn echte Tiger I motorgeluiden
van de Maybach V12 benzinemotor e.d. mogelijk.
